2008’s fortunate 50.

wow. this is why mom and dad shoulda put me in that golf camp. because golfers make bank. sports illustrated debuted their “fortunate 50″ list for this year, listing the 50 top paid athletes in the world. the craziest thing is that a lot of these dudes don’t rely on that check from playing the actual sport, but from those endorsements. i had NO idea phil mickenson was even in the running for 50 top paid athletes, but he’s #2 because of over $60 million from SPONSORS. nba players dominate the list, but it’s interesting to see how many has-been’s and never-was ballers that are still getting paid because of vicious contracts during their hey days.

wouldn’t it be cool if sports paid people based on performance? kobe and lebron!? you tell me.

check the rest of the list out here. good looks, vince.

and don’t you think some of these dudes should jump on that jay-z - a billi joint, just for kicks? they all have bread for days. it’s only right. i’m just saying though.

Yo this list is fuckin faulty i just checked the SI article. Where is my man Roger Federer? Ronaldinho? no soccer players, no tennis players, They make bank. this must be American athletes only. That’s the only excuse i can think of. Anywho nice work my nig.
