i hate to admit it, but mccain’s smear ad was kinda on point. obama is definitely a cot’ damn celebrity, and he knows it. he’s the only guy i’ve heard of that has his own air force one shoe, multiple thousands of t-shirts, and an action figure before achieving actual stardom (aka becoming president). and i can only applaud a man with that much clout. he’s kinda hip, too. watch.

obama hasn’t announced anything yet but it’s highly likely that biden will get the nomination.
He originally was running for president this year but dropped out of the race after the iowa caucus.
he’s the guy who said this about Obama earlier in the race:
“I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy, I mean, that’s a storybook, man.”
The thing about Joe Biden is he’s not particularly good at thinking before he spouts off. Most people who know Biden would tell you that that ridiculous quote is just kind of the way that he speaks. Certainly a gaff, but not necessarily representative of his psyche (thank god).
As far as positives, he was the most impressive in debates. He arguably pretty much killed everyone. Why? Same reason, he can talk your ear off. He stayed on the offensive with his points and was able to effectively present his arguments. As opposed to Obama who especially back then can seem like he’s being defensive. Then again, Obama is more frequently getting the more targeted challenges, so easier said than done.
I think Biden’s the best option. He’s experienced, and supposedly gets along with Obama relatively well. Barack is not going to pick either of the Virginia dudes that were originally considered favorites along with Biden. It will either be Biden or a big surprise, Biden’s most likely.
Joe just needs to work on his motherfucking filter.
