the roots @ BC [update].

the roots in concert @ BC

friday, september 12 in conte forum. $20 per ticket.

my UGBC connect told me that tickets are officially on sale from monday - friday during business hours in robsham theatre (no max # of tickets, but they will ask for a BC ID when buying it just to make sure it is BC affiliated). no need for a BC ID at the doors though, so anyone from around here can come in for the show.

oh, and apparently young money’s tyga is opening up for these guys. i personally think these guys attract two different demographics, and a few other artists would have been better picks, but you tell me how you feel about that.

thank the people over at UGBC for this special fall concert. seating is general admission, with the doors opening at 7 pm for the 8 pm show.

how is this only $20?? Im paying almost $50 to see them in England in december. Rising Down is only a borderline good album, I expected it to be better

yeah but that tipping point joint was so good that i think they can rock some jams from that for like 40 minutes and everyone will be cool. their set is normally long as shit, and no one is dissatisfied.

    50 tho? got’em.

oh, and guys? tyga is opening up for this. how do you guys feel about this!?

    I hate BU sometimes,
we get no decent shows at prices like this.
agganis arena is wack and not general seating…
our spring concert was plagued with a faulty sound system…

Tyga? Put the lime in the coconut and twist it on a FLOP? Might as well get those two stooges who opened up for Kanye when he came to BC. I am sooo geeked for this concert.

ppl need to get their minds right and support real hip-hop right here. i hope it’s a sell-out crowd, so come thru and don’t be a sell-out.
