naeto c – kini big deal [video].

in nigeria, this joint is a BANGER. in fact, i need it to come to the US immediately, and hit the radios hard. i heard it while in vegas, my uncle put me on. the intro is kinda long…but the song drops at like 1:15 or so. enjoy.

i need more info about this guy! he’s too nice with it. and i think i’m about to make a mix compilation joint of international jams like this, because too much $#!t gets overlooked! my question to you all is, can this make it to the US and be successful!? why or why not?

also check out ikechukwu “wind am well”. ikechukwu is the other guy in the video that sings with naeto c
thing is, beat goes hard but most in nigeria dont really resonate with his music because he’s more privileged and doesnt see things from the average nigerians perspective. now you need to check on 9ice, dbanj, sound sultan, now those artists are killing the naija music scenes.
as far as blowing up internationally, new school nigerian artists are making their marks especially throughout africa, i think in a couple of years they r gonna b real big

Yo I’ll sound off with a brief post. This dude is definitely doing it big and peeps in Nigeria are responding. This joint was the number one song for a few weeks in august when I was there so I had to support the broth and buy the album. People should check out ‘this is what I do’ and ‘lagos city hustla’ They both gohard like kanye ft tpain. I think his songs break the typical mold and are westernized enough for wider appeal plus the production is higher quality than one may expect. so my nigerians need to stand up for this dude like them jamaicans die for their bombaclot music

If I’m not mistaken, this dude was born in america. I remember hearing a song not long about with the chorus going “sittin’ on knots”. I’m not Nigerian, so I know I don’t have all the facts, but he seems “americanized”. I can’t see him as a Nigerian rapper because of how it all sounds.

My bad, the chorus was “sittin’ on top”. Now I know why he’s so familiar… he was in DC for a bit… that’s how I know the song
