this is by no means new. it’s eminem’s first album, released in 1996. i figured, with all the people hating on the new album (despite it going gold in the first week) and saying he needs to go back to his original roots, why not show people how he used to rhyme. he was incredibly creative with the wordplay, but his mind had not reached dementia so he wasn’t making crazy songs that we all know today. let’s compare old em from ‘96 and today’s em from ‘09. you tell me which is better, and click the album art to download the album. also, check out my man kevin nottingham’s exclusive footage of eminem’s first ever interview here.

i was surprised as hell
and i have to pause the VERY FIRST line of “Insane”
Yea man, the only reason I don’t like Em is his content, I don’t want to hear about child molestation.
imagine if Em had the recording tools in 96 as he has availible to him in 09 shi would be supa crisp in your brain. the lyrical talent is obviously there. on his new album i think he is just making fun of the masses by putting out this wack as shi and still goin GOLD!!! forget the hollywood whore’s and get back to ol Em
Infinite = easily top 5 album of all time for me… straight Classic!
thats by far one of the most if not the most lyrically impressive tracks i’ve ever heard. almost every line!!
I don’t understand the hate for Relapse. The album is pretty solid and Eminem shows us he still has the sick wordplay and flow that most rappers today lack. I know his content is a little crazy, but this album still doodoos on most of the stuff out today and this was by far a breath of fresh air for rap. Hmmm listen to Em psychopathic flow all day or listen to Rick Ross rap about moving cocaine…Give me Em…
