i feel like everything i post on this blog is worthy of a read or a view. but this is one of those things you’ll feel stupid for scrolling past when i told your ass to watch it, and then your friends are all talking about it but you feel out the loop because you thought it was weak.
the hyperizers. who are these guys? well, they’re NBA superstars mo williams, kevin durant, rashard lewis, and andre iguodala, and they KILL the track. like, first the nike skateboarding commercial, and now the nike basketball advertising / marketing department is sh!tting all over every other ad out there? jeez louise, this is a must watch. each one of them can flow (andre is just on the hook), but tell me who you think is the best in the comment section.

i want to know how they picked the artists that they have in the video. not that i’m disappointed, but rather just interested in how the selection process worked. none of them are superstars (yet), so maybe nike believes this is the league’s future? somebody let me know.
I’m sure that Nike believes they’re the leagues future. I’d love to find a list of all nba athletes on the Nike basketball roster. They couldn’t have used Kobe or LeBron for this since they already have their own lines w/Nike. Dwight Howard and Derrick Rose are young stars but they’re with Reebok. Hmmm, I’d love to know how they picked them too, nonetheless its a classic video haha.

kevin durant was smooth, but you can tell his heart wasnt in it. id have to say rashard lewis is the best.

not sure if this came out of the same ad agency, but i know nike has a long-standing relationship with wieden & kennedy, who are pretty much the most AMAZING ad agency ever (i’m a little biased). they’re responsible for the “my better is better than your better” commercials w/the saul williams track (LOVE those damn commercials) as well. they’re masters of balancing creativity w/message and getting you to forget you’re even watching a commercial. how do i know all this? i’m a marketing geek who watches TV for the commercials. =[
Kevins flow is sick but rashard is unreal. These guys really got something going here man… Hope to see another commercial out in the future. Ps u think lebron is jealous his boy mo has the freshest Nike commercial out right now?
